Butler isn't the best corner in the league or even close to that. There are too many variables to conclude he would have made a difference. Eric Rowe is taller .. a bigger man than Butler. And the eagles let him go. maybe Belichick thought that might factor into it.

He may not be the best corner even on his team. But he played all year and practiced all week. To not play him at all is just silly.
