Try this test... when on a highway switch from comfort to sport while in constant speed and watch your rpm needle drop. Then switch your shifter to the left and watch the rpm drop further. |
I think you may have meant that the other way. The RPM will climb when switching to sport and will climb again when switching to sport shift. Each instance drops the transmission into a lower gear.
