Hmmm....
I wonder how this chip works on petrol engine then. Just adding fuel theoretically increases air/fuel ratio and doesn't add power - just makes for an inefficient engine. I wonder if the ECU reads more fuel (higher AFR) then adjusts the turbo's vanes (the infamous TwinTurboPower VGT) to add more boost to keep AFR's in check. Then you would get more power - more fuel, higher boost - and it would work within the limits and parameters of the stock tune until the CEL lights up.
