I drive in sport when I can but sometimes I need to be in comfort:
1) wife thinks it's too bumpy - she gets car sick
2) display changes - sometimes I don't want to look at an all-red display
3) wife can see how fast I am going easily in sport - big #s on the digital display in sport

To name a few.

I am used to the steering at this point so it doesn't bother me that much but the stiffer steering in sport feels better.
