No doubt. When the M5 (and company) are moving to AWD - high performance sedans, mind you, not trucks - you can rest easy knowing that hotted up RWD SUVs are as good as dead. In fact, they were never really a thing were they? RWD SUVs exist for the same reason FWD SUVs exist - to lower the price of entry and save a few CAFE points. Beyond that basic trim level, for a luxury brand, AWD is essentially the price of entry.
