I don't know how to remove the panels to get to that part. I spoke to my dealer and got a somewhat cryptic message there they will try to replace via warranty but don't know until they inspect the damage. I bought the car last November.
Stewy604 - yes I think the design is a bit flawed; it's very flimsy. I broke it when I tried to open it to clip the belt. The spring is strong so you have to pull hard to open it but gentle enough not to open it too far. Last week I nearly snapped the left side off too. I'm not sure if it's worth replacing. |
There are diagrams with instructions on how to remove through Rheingold ISTA+. If dealer cannot replace.
