These possible numbers seem to be quite an increase in MPG from my current 35d which is 19/26! Actually I get more like 21.5 -22 in city driving, but I am not thrashing it around, and have gotten 28-29 on interstate driving keeping it between 70-75. Should we expect such a big improvement? As it stands, diesel gas is about 30 cents more than premium where I live. Too tiresome crunching numbers, but now with 27 mpg on the new 35i, I am thinking about going back to regular gas. Guess I will need to wait until the final numbers come out and decide.
