Yeah, they'll wind up paying for it. I'll likely run it through my insurance though.
The garage immediately offered to have it repaired at their shop, but I refused. They repaired damage they did to my last bimmer and did a horrible job. Paint was flaking off the repair by the time I turned it in. Their goal is to get out of it as cheaply as possible, whereas I just want it fixed right.
Better to let the insurance company pursue them and know that the repair was done right rather than spend the next 3 years worrying about it.
