I have an F16 with a fan in the center console. Has anybody found a replacement plastic-plate, which does have the slits for the fan? I would like to order a replacement plate with the slits. If I am not able to find it, I may drill holes in the plastic, over where the fan is.

BMW don't make them and I don't think any aftermarket will make them due to the selling price. It is too cheap for them to make an effort to make one.
That fan doesn't even turn on when nothing attached to the cradle. So, even if you made it to fit, it will just sitting there pretty.
