Is this a brand new transmission or a revision to the existing DCT?
The info sheet said an 8-speed steptronic w/ drivelogic, but, as far as I know the existing DCT has been 7-speed on all deployments.
Dont get me wrong, I am wishing fervently for a DCT, but, my dealer seemed pretty sure it was the autobox as well. That being said, wouldnt be the first time the dealers had it wrong.
