I always do a glance and normally know who is where from continuously panning the mirrors but in a pinch for a quick move, they help. I've used those small round ones on all my vehicles in the past and they were fine. However, with the newly designed ridiculously small and odd shaped side views, the round ones took up too much real estate on the mirror. I'm really interested in these euro mirrors.
