Ford Fusion, Honda Accord, Prius, and Highlander to name a few only cost a few grand more and save more than $1000 a year in fuel. They easily pay for themselves in five years.

I thought the new Q7 was aluminum and going to be significantly lighter than the X5?

I drive a $80,000 GL450 with plastic seats that gets 16mpg and there is nothing vaguely interesting about the driving experience. I would rather get 28mpg and save money for extra tires for the track car. I just don't understand soaking six figures into a SUV.
