So I installed the center console USB port and connected it to the USB2 connector on the back of the nbt evo head unit and it doesn't work
Further reading suggests that the USB2 connection has limited functionality on MY2017 cars onward. To get the full functionality I need to connect to the USB1 hub. At the moment I have no idea where that's located.
