I also hope this can maybe help someone in the future who has the same problem, can't believe they (or I) didn't notice something was off (but they were PACKED, with Chicago getting 3-5 inches saturday people are freaking out about their tires)

This is why I do it myself.
Just put my winters on yesterday. But that's interesting. I wouldn't have known that a square setup would have different offset front to rear. It takes basically the only advantage of having a square setup away... the ability to rotate front to rear to even out wear. Don't know why they would design it that way.
