BMW Server issue...

Found the following in other BMW forums that points to a BMW server issue and the need to contact BMW Genius with your VIN for reactivation:

1. You need to call BMW genius (844.443-6487).
2. They will take your Vin
3. BMW is aware of this issue.
4. They offered to update me every three days.
5. After two hours, they reset something or added my vin to the server and ALL IS WELL NOW.
6. They encouraged anyone experiencing this problem to call BMW genius and give them your VIN.

I talked to the genius at 844-4GENIUS and he told me they have a known issue that started on 6/25. it only affects the voice command input for POI. I asked him why it would take a week to fix the issue and he didn't know. I'm getting a sinking feeling that they're putting this on the back burner so if any of of you are having this issue you can email them at bmwgenius@bmwusa.com. The squeaky wheel gets the grease.

I'm going to contact BMW and pursue the reinitialization of my VIN. Will let you all know if this works.
