I did ask... the dealer said that BMW stopped offering them because they were being stolen in transit. Thats why RSE is now "only" $2200.
Can you post a picture of the headsets that you have (OEM), I have see two pictures of headsets when I search for the OEMs. Just want to make sure I'm getting the correct headsets.

I stand corrected by my wife (there is a first time for everything). We actually did NOT get headsets with the RSE. We bought wired Sony headsets and just plug them in.
