You sir are all over the place. The Demon is at the top of the list of five cars that run the quarter mile faster than 10 seconds and it will most likely be at a small fraction of the cost of the other cars. The other cars are hypercars. The 918 runs "only" 9.8s and cost at least $847,000 USD. The Bugatti Veyron Super Sport runs 9.7s and cost $1,700,000 USD.

You should watch the video previously posted by Snappy Phoenix. Dodge didn't build the Demon to complete with other types of cars. They built it as a max-effort street / strip quarter mile car with a warranty.

I think a more valid comparison would be to the track only Ford Cobra Jet. Both are supercharged domestic V8 cars with factory engineered 1/4 optimized suspensions. Of course, the Demon is street legal, has a warranty, and AC.
