The Lexus LX570 is a very capable vehicle, but it's not very pretty. The predator face looks weird on an IS but looks even more out of place on a huge SUV. If you plan on off roading, go for it. Huge V8 won't be overly stressed and car will probably last forever.
If it were me, and I only needed 5 seats, I'd get a G63. Design will last forever. As capable as a land cruiser?? (Not sure) something attractive about driving an old school military truck.
I would also consider a full sized Range Rover. Doesn't appeal to me as much as the G wagon though
