I don't know what you consider "a lot of $$" for tire replacement, but I've never spent more than $800 for OEM 20 sizes. You're not waiting for a sale or buying it from a dealer or buying OE run flats. If you're spending more than $1000 on 18s or 19s, then you're definitely doing it wrong.
