I've been really happy with the power delivery and overall driveability of my 35d. Very smooth and quiet. The mileage has been great as well, as I drive a lot of extended kms on the highway for work (10-12 hour trips) on a regular basis. I love being able to basically just all day and not need a fuel up. One of the primary reasons for me choosing the diesel was that my company won't pay for premium fuel, which is strange as diesel is on par in this area vs. 91/92 octane. You can't really go wrong with any of the three engine choices on the F15...I drove all 3 before buying my 35d, and was very impressed with each.
