Thought I should contribute to this great write-up! The proj took me about 3.5 hours, not bad. All the tabs can be pulled out with some forces and wiggles. Nothing will break. Part # for the wheel well liner clips is in one of the photos. You will need 12 of them
For anyone who is thinking about running board deletion, PM me for the old cover and supports I took off (They are 4 weeks old from my 2017 3.0 xDrive).
