Here's a tip for everyone (or at least those who don't know about it):
COSTCO auto program. In my case the dealers down here in Florida are very unwilling to negotiate and not surprisingly are also not part of Costco Auto Program (some local dealers offered me a whole $500 off MSRP!!
) so I read in another forum some fellow member talking about Costco. I decided to investigate and with a phone call I got 1K over invoice before BMW rebates, no discussion, no weird stories nor the usual speech from the CA: "you know, these vehicles only have a 6% markup and they are in such high demand"
.
I'm happy with that deal! had to do it with an out of state dealer, and will either have to drive a few hours to pick it up or pay ~500 to have it delivered, but still very much worth it given my local market conditions! Even if you don't have a Costco membership, it's around 50 bucks to get one, needless to say that the savings justify that "investment".
