Yesterday was an epic celebration here! All of Finland tuned in to watch our president shaking hands with two thousand people, and most of us visited a cemetery. I didn't see even one firework, and because this was a full hundred we celebrated all year by voting a dark rye bread as our national bread.
We are real party animals for sure! Not only did we fuck up by declaring independence in the middle of the winter to ensure maximum coldness for our special day, watching people shake hands is us polishing our dancing shoes.
I swear we are the most boring nation in the world.
