As a follow-up, we completed our consumption test and the engine used .1 liters in 1300 miles. They said normal use was 1 liter in 750 miles.
This gives me a little more assurance and will just have to keep topping it off as normal. We're patiently waiting for the LCI 50e to swap this thing out later next year.
