I adjusted the latch on the tailgate (downwards) to make remove as much tension as possible when closing. Make sure it is centered as much as possible otherwise the noise will come either left or right side.
"For now" the noise is gone. The issue is the panel adjustment between the tailgate and the rest of the car body, but is much prefer a car without noise.
