Parts shortages are apparently no more ...
I was just informed that my X5 began production today - which I verified on the build progress web site. I was originally told a mid January build date. So it appears that BMW resolved their supply chain issues. I was actually hoping for a later build as there are *many* reports of serious issues (engine malfunction codes, driver assist issues, signal problems, etc.).
Hoping that I won't receive a lemon as it were.
Anyways just posting this for those with pending builds .....
