I have the DM-V2s in 18" on a dedicated set of wheels. They work very well in the snow, but aren't that great in the dry, as expected for a winter tire. I swap in/out as the snow comes and goes, so it's not an issue for me.
If price is not a concern, Hakkas are hands-down the best winter tires out there. All depends if you swap out for the season and want decent dry weather feel or not.
