Yep - facts. Thanks for continuing to dig into this. Even after speaking to two dealers (BMW of South Atlanta and BMW of Gwinnett), I don't think they were speaking with all the facts. It has to regen if it has the same structure as our diesel pickups. On pickups, they regen between 500 and 1500 miles, depending on driving. In 08 model trucks, they even tell you when they are cleaning the filter. Maybe there is a message in the coding??
