Asked my contact at the dealer and he said that there are restrictions on parts specific to 2016 diesel that can not be fulfilled.
Once they solve that issue, they will resume 2016.
if this is the case, that would explain that you can get 2015 with same "options" but not 2016.
I suspect that they are making engine changes either for efficiency or the bio-diesel.
