CID or head unit failure?
I started my 2016 X5 (which still has less than 4K miles) over the weekend, and CID only displayed strange lines (see photo). If I changed the function from Nav to Radio to Menu, etc, the blurry lines changed, but the correct image never displayed. Has anyone encountered this before? Is this a CID failure or a head unit failure?
Audio works (...you just can't see your selection).
Drive mode changes (Comfort > Sport) seems to work.
I think the cameras work (...you can't seem them, but the blurry lines change when the different cameras are selected.
Dealership is attempting to debug this. Reprogramming didn't help. Based on what seems to work, I'm inclined to suspect the CID or perhaps a wiring harness between the CID and the head unit.
Any thoughts or experience with this?
