Short in town trips won’t do well for the diesel engine. You won’t trigger the regen on the DPF and may cause lots of issues for you down the road. Also, make sure you don’t use bio diesel (preferably fill up at a Propel station or station that does high volume so you don’t get diesel that’s been sitting).

I loved the idea of diesel but for me our driving habits didn’t line up to how a diesel should be driven (needs long drives) so we ended up with a 35i
