Sorry to go off on a slight tangent, can I ask what is the purpose of strip along the back of the comfort seats as shown in the OP's photo attached? I'm still waiting for my new X5 and have ordered the front and rear comfort seats tho don't remember seeing that piece of trim before.
Is it part of the ambient lighting?
