Ah yes, that is true UKMS - IMHO more of a "cool" rather than a key "functional" difference though, since the LCD section of the Standard display is white/coloured during the day like the Extended. It's just the Standard dials have white "physical" numbers that back light to orange at night where as the Extended relies on back light both day (white) and night (orange).
