So.... I took delivery. I compared the 6WA cluster to the basic KOMBI cluster, and couldn't justify the wait and hassle of ordering a new X5. I also put a good guilt trip on the dealer about the CA's lack of knowledge and was able to get the platinum 5 year/100k mile warranty for $100 over dealer cost. (saved $500 from the original quote I got from several dealers)
Damn is this a beautiful piece of German engineering!
