Under "Settings" you will find "Departure Time" which allows you to preset when you will depart. Once that is set you can selected "Precond. for Departure" which will heat or cool to the preset temperatures associated with your individual profile. Oh, thanks for the help.
Got the X5 parked in the garage now so I don't think we'll need that most days. And this can be done with the BMW App that I've downloaded to my phone so my wife (she'll get the app too) I see. So the wife can pre-heat the X5 when it's parked outside when she's at work. That's nifty.
