It's actually a friend of mine - Quickjack system ($1000). It works really well in a low ceiling garage and is portable to take to the track or a friends house. I do use hockey pucks to bridge the gap between the lift flats and jack points of the car.

They make a great pair, fortunately my wife has grown to fully appreciate the 228i is not bugging me to shop new cars for her anymore.
