Yep, all of the major names have much lesser known/unseen before named factories that they use for R&D, testing, proof of concept, etc purposes. Sometimes it’s easy to figure out who is behind them, other times damn near impossible. Hint: poke around the DOT website with the DOT # from the tire sidewall, all sorts of information is coded into that #.
And, of course, YMMV. 🤔
