I think the same principle applies to cars too.
You could have purchased another vehicle that would do the job for you, yet you decided to buy an X5 to take you from point A to B for double the price.
Back to the tires, I would compare them to similar all season ones like DWS06. Not sure they're at the same level.
I think we need to compare apples to apples. Only then could we tell the difference.
That said, I do think the premium for brand tires is so high that we're all tempted to try them.
Am debating to go Accelera for my 21s when Dunlops wear out.
