I agree. Additionally, the screen is further from my natural seating position than the dial. The tactile feel of the dial is also nice driving around the horrendous roads of the northeast. I've always had issues hitting bumps and other things while trying to touch a non tactile button on my other cars with touch screens.

Wow, maybe my kids were right - maybe I am old.
