well i am in the same boat, what you mean (I'm just going to drill the wholes out and then epoxy), where do you planning to drill the wholes?
There's 4 pegs that go through the grill and then 4 metal clips slide onto those pegs to lock them on. That's why you have to take the fender liners out. Since our stock grills have the markings for the holes, but the holes aren't drilled out yet, we have to drill for the pegs to slide in. I'm just going to epoxy and then slide the pegs in. Some people say the trim is wobbly with the metal clips and they have to epoxy anyways.
