So maybe roughly 150$ for tire swap plus the 1-2 hours you have to wait.
Sounds about right, so figure 150 * 6 = 900. For 1500 - 2000, you can get a second set for winter and after your 3 years, they're still worth at least half what you paid. So cost in the end is about even, risk to your summer set goes away, and IMO, the hassle is less (assuming you're willing, you can change them yourself at home, no need to lug them to a tire place twice a year).
