Love it. What paint did you use on the exhaust tips? I'm thinking of using the VHT Engine enamel in gloss black. I was going to pick up the high heat primer and the gloss black and drop them off at the body shop when I drop my car off to get repaired. I don't think they have high heat paint laying around but I could be wrong? I think I'm sticking with my OEM style bumper as mine is a 35d. As much as I like the X5M rear bumper I think I'll just keep it stock looking. |
When my x5 was in for body work the shop had painted them for me while the bumper was off. They used the same paint they use for callipers and brakes. Turned out nice. I'm happy with the outcome.
They didn't do the inside of the tips so it looks a bit off at the moment, but they had also wiped the inside down, so I'm sure after a few miles they will be black inside anyway.
