well when you have a sleeping baby in the car and you decide not to move the kid out of the car while you wait inside for your wife to run an errand...then that's when you would want to push the button twice...
At least that's my most common scenario for pushing it twice. Otherwise, if I'm just leaving the car, yes, push once and leave the car. |
What? That's not what we are talking about in regards to the OP's question or concerns. We are talking about shutting off the car and why we need to press the button twice.
If you are going to chill and wait in the car after you have shut off the engine and need to be quiet, then by all means press the button as many times as you want.
