We just had a stretch of 95 to 103 degree heat here in the Pacific NW and my June/2016 X5 AC remained ice cold even with part of the air diverted to the 2nd row seats. I'm super happy with the AC performance and I'm very sensitive to heat. I keep my house at 66 degrees year round. If your X5 AC is not performing I say beat on BMW and the service dept until they fix it because the system is absolutely capable of performing well.
