I got it once and never again. Also 2018 50i CPO. I just keep a quart of oil in the trunk but only used it once in 13K miles. I do the usual 10K recommended oil change.
10k is way too long to wait on a 50i for an oil change…
Not necessarily true. Depends on your driving style. Plenty of new documentation and data out there with the new oils manufacturers are making that are in deed allowing for these extended oil intervals. Not saying there is anything wrong with peace of mind in changing it more often but the era of changing every 6 months or 3k miles for just normal driving is gone.

With that said I change mine in my M5 every 5k miles as I still get dealer oil at 10k miles and I drive the hell out of it. But I change our X5 50i around 7k-10k. My wife drives it now and only puts on less than 10k a year. But when I drove it I changed closer to every 5k. Not that I'm a shining example of what anyone "shoulda" do. Lol

So then do 10k oil changes lol nobody will stop you. Any bmw specialist will tell you otherwise. The dealer doesn't care about you.

Basic requirements for our cars are oil changes. They love them.
I guess you didn't read what I wrote.
