Side skirt retrofit
I'm buying an X6 50i (X-Line) from dealer stock and it has the running boards with the steps. Aside form not caring for the appearance, I don't like that my pants drag along them as I exit the vehicle. I want to retrofit the regular rocker panel. I know that I've seen a thread around here with instructions and part numbers but I can't find it for the life of me. I searched and found discussions on the topic but I seem to remember specific instructions somewhere that indicated that certain holes in the body needed to be waterproofed, etc. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
