Not only are these vehicles in 2 different segments, I can't see someone who wants what the X5 has to offer even consider the Jeep.

I've cross shopped only because the Jeep is so good looking and X5 is not. Quality of the Jeep is still sub par - as it probably should be considering the price difference.
A friend went from a stripped out X5 to a loaded JGC and couldn't be happier.
I can't do it.
