The issue for me with devices like Allstate's Drivewise is that the device is recording the time of day, vehicle speed, how hard the brakes are being applied along with some other vehicle data. All of the data that this device is constantly recording is discoverable by third parties and can be used in an accident investigation and⁄or litigation.
