The 40e always made me feel like I was driving a really, loaded and highly optioned Toyota Camry with a 4 cyl. engine. Anyone who has driven a "nice" Camry or Accord knows the sound, and feeling. When heavy accelerating in the 40e, it sounded and felt like a 4 cyl Camry really trying. Hated that!!!!
