On my 2015, in addition to the hubs, the rear dust plate and caliper covers are exhibiting significant rust also. It's such an eye sore that I stopped looking down at my wheels before getting into the car. It especially pisses me off every time I wash the car.

Spoke to two SAs at separate dealerships and they said it's totally normal. They won't replace or offer to do any cosmetic work on any of the components even though my car is under warranty. Strangely my F10 has hardly any similar issues though I've had it even longer than the X5.

Apparently it's a fairly common issue on all cars in the DC/MD/VA area because of our shitty, wildly variable weather.

Does anyone know how much approximately to do a full swap of parts on the standard brake kit? If it's remotely even close to half of the MPBK, I may be tempted. That full kit looks so good.
